What Is EasySRE?

Award Winning Resources

EasySRE features ten high-quality films which use drama, animation, interviews and demonstrations to explore different aspects of Relationships and Sex Education (RSE / SRE) and well-being for ages 4 - 18 and for parents. The resources contained on this website can help you deliver your sessions with confidence.

The resources are designed with young people for young people. Each film was made by Catcher Media with health professionals, teaching staff and young people, and is aimed at specific key stage levels. They have all been successfully road-tested within schools across Walsall and beyond.

We are delighted to announce that EasySRE won the Pamela Sheridan award at The UK Sexual Health Awards 2014

What Our Professionals Say

Read about the impacts our resources have helped our members & users

  • “I have used ‘Help I’m Hairy’ for the last 3 years. I found it very difficult to find an appropriate resource that wasn’t too detailed, and which was aimed at young people (as apposed to young children). This film did exactly that”

    Tina, Teacher Walsall
  • “The room generally goes into absolute silence whilst the film plays. Comments always include how ‘powerful’ it is, how informative, how much it leaves food for thought. There is certainly a buzz in the room afterward.”

    Sallyann Sutton Walsall NHS Healthcare
  • “Age and context appropriate, yet still has added flair and imagination ”

    Project participant, aged 18
  • “Provides lesson plans and resources you can photo copy and clear guidance on how to use the film in a session. All the hard work has been done for you.”

    Elaine Syratt Walsall NHS Healthcare
  • “The use of creative approaches draws in the pupils interest in the topic area and allows them to talk about and explore sensitive topic areas. ”

    Sallyann Sutton Walsall NHS Healthcare
  • “All our members really liked your approach and found the interviews with the children helpful. We love the film thanks!”

    Head Teacher, Cambridge
  • “The message is given in an easily accessible but non-victim blaming manner enabling dialogue and effective learning”

    Esther Higdon Walsall Council
  • “I think I will be a lot more open and honest in future and not feel under pressure”

    Project participant, aged 17
  • “It’s absolutely brilliant, so relevant and up-to-date. We’ve been looking for something to replace our current video and I was interested in your package that includes the lesson plans / resources too. That it is NHS-approved is a massive bonus.”

    Emma, Teacher Hampshire
  • “It really gets lots of messages across to the viewer and at the right pace for the intended audience; its lovely, another great job.”

Carol Williams, Teenage Pregnancy Prevention Lead
  • “Wow! That was brilliant. The kids smashed it, feel very proud of them all. Great job everyone!”

Matt Webb, Nurture & Drama, Elmwood School
